I then decide whether I want to go triadic, or complementary + neutral. Ogryn camo, for instance, is pale and light, whereas Tau Light Ochre is rich and light. I then judge if I think the colour is light or dark, and rich or pale. What I tend to do for colour schemes is starting with the central colour, usually a base or layer paint's colour.
